What is the ratio of care associates to residents?

The Legacy at Cimarron is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We match our staffing ratio to the needs of our residents.

Is there an age requirement for living at The Legacy at Cimarron?

Yes, 62.

What does the typical move-in process look like?

We approach the move-in process with care and sensitivity, making sure that everything is taken care of from start to finish. We’ll take care of all the paperwork, including vital information, agreements, and permissions required by state regulations.

And if you need help with the physical move itself, we’re happy to recommend trusted moving companies in the El Paso area. Whatever you need to make your move simple and easy, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Do you provide transportation?

Need a ride to the doctor’s office or an activity? No problem! We offer scheduled transportation for our residents to get where they need to go.

Arranging transport is easy: just reach out to our concierge or healthcare team, and they’ll coordinate with your doctor’s office or activity coordinator. Our bus driver checks daily for timely departures and arrivals, so you can sit back and relax on your journey.

We also offer designated locations and events for residents to sign up ahead of time, with special seating arrangements available for those using wheelchairs or electric scooters.

If you need private transportation, just let us know! We’re happy to help at a nominal charge.

Are your suites furnished?

No, our suites are private and unfurnished.

We encourage our residents to get creative with their decorating so they can truly make their suites their own.

How is a resident’s level of care determined?

Our healthcare team works closely with your family and physician to complete a thorough health assessment that takes into account your individual needs and preferences.

This assessment helps us determine the level of care that’s right for you, so we can provide the support you need to live your best life.

Do you allow pets?

We know that your furry friend is an important part of your life, and we want them to feel right at home here at The Legacy at Cimarron.

That’s why we offer a special program to help care for your pet, including daily walks to keep them happy and healthy.
